From the recording Circle 'Round Me

Lyrics

CIRCLE ‘ROUND ME

A raindrop caused a trickle & the trickle made a pool.
The pool, it started traveling & became a brook so cool.
The brook dropped down a mountainside & grew into a stream.
The stream became a river & it flowed into my dream.

Circle ‘round me, circle me with love;
Love surround me, sent from up above.
Circle ‘round me, circle me with love;
Love surround me, sent from up above.

A pine cone fell upon the earth; a squirrel found it here.
He feasted, then he stored it up, for winter snow was near.
Then in the spring he brought it out as rain fell gleefully.
That summertime his leftovers became a little tree.

(chorus)

I planted a small garden & I fed it naturally.
Old leaves became a blanket for the growing plants-to-be.
The bugs ate all their meals & there was still enough to share.
It fed three friends & one raccoon, my garden plot so fair.

(chorus 3x)
